The south may not handle the brutal cold well, but a good southern sister always has a nice warm drink recipe on hand to keep their loved ones nice and toasty! This is a variation of a classic hot chocolate recipe that I just love. For those tamer souls (or small children), just leave out the chili powder!

Ingredients

6 cups of milk (whatever your preference)

1 can of sweetened condensed milk

1 1/2 cups of heavy whipping cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips

1/2 tsp of chili powder (or more if your heart desires!)

Tons of marshmallows!!

Directions

Dump all ingredients into a crockpot and whisk until smooth

Cook on low for 2-3 hours, whisking occasionally so the chocolate doesn't stick

Serve in a pretty mug and top with marshmallows!
